[/quote] Crew at the Montgomery County publics (including Whitman) will generally allow large numbers of kids to practice but they only take the top XX number of kids to the regattas (it depends on the school and the regatta regarding how many boats they enter but if it's one boat it's only 8 kids plus the coxswain).
