It's cringe worthy, but I just smile. It wasn't my choice. Imagine how your kid's name would be pronounced when they enter the workplace. What if they work abroad? For a multinational? At a construction site? If you're happy with the pronunciation and possible perceptions of your kid (and you) then who are we to judge? (We will judge, just not to your face).[/quote]
