The classes and program are the same for out-of-boundary (lottery winners) and in-boundary students. I have a 5th grader who attends one of the MSMC ES for a special program. Many of her friends chose Loiederman and she was selected via the lottery. We talked with many parents we know with kids there and they were very happy. It's a good environment especially for girls and boys who are more sensitive and artsy, as it has a higher % of female students. The arts lean more to performing than visual, but there are visual arts electives for each year. The block scheduling means they have 8 classes instead of 7, so they can take another elective. It's a good way to try something new and see if they like it.[/quote]

These are all the  reasons to choose it.  I thought they did virtual really well but this year has been hit or miss.  The 8 classes is great.  Some of the arts teachers are hit or miss.  Academic teachers are pretty good.  We don't find the administration or counselor that responsive and have emailed over an issue multiple times and no response.[/quote]
