[/quote] My DD is doing it to free up an elective spot so that she can continue to do orchestra. She is in a magnet program (not FCPS) that does not allow for this otherwise. I’d rather her continue doing something she truly loves than shuffling around feigning exercise, or whatever they do in PE as teenagers. As a bonus, I get to enforce 60 hours of physical activity during the summer! She’s going to have to get up and go outside and exercise! Honestly, I think every teen should have mandatory PE in the summer.[/quote]
