Thanks for all the insights. I actually did some baby wearing with my first, but found our carrier (the smaller model Baby Bjorn that someone mentioned) to not be supportive enough for my back. My husband liked it a lot better and used it longer than I did. We considered investing in one of the Ergo carriers, but just start using our stroller more. The Ergo also struck me as overly complicated and cumbersome, which also turned me off the idea of getting one.

I also fully acknowledge that this Artipoppe carrier is overpriced. No doubt about it. But the reviews I’ve found have cited it as very comfortable, supportive, and stylish, all of which are important to me.

I also don’t live in DC anymore. I expect it to be cooler here than DC when Baby #2 is due. I would also babywear inside.

I love the suggestion of contacting a baby wearing group. Will give that a try before pulling the trigger. I’m all about the pre purchase research so eager to learn more. This is one carrier I’m considering, so happy to get their feedback on others too. [/quote]
