This is the AAP board, I would guess that most of the posters who are actively reading the AAP board have kids who are scoring in the 98-99th percentile on standardized tests and are investigating the Advanced/Gifted programs for their kids. I get that people find topics in the recent post list but maybe they can look at what board that the post is in and not be a judgemental ass.

Thank you for the kind response. I will contact the school but wanted to gather information before I did, as there is one person in the school in charge of this and I don't really want to be a burden. I figured DCUMers would shed some light on the process in anonymity. [/quote]
