I hate old stuff, and hate my parents' taste. I think a house can absolutely be tastefully decorated without those things. [/quote] Are you thinking about vintage or found items broadly though? What about framing an antique map or print in the frame of your choice? Or buying an out-of-print hardcover book for your shelf display or coffee table, such as a first edition book of a favorite classic novel? You really have to have everything brand new?[/quote]
