They're just running some mathematical thing based on preseason expectations, final scores (which can be misleading), unknown strength of teams etc. I much prefer our "Unofficial" Rankings here which are semi-crowd-sourced by local folks who are actually watching these games. Plus our intrepid reporter who includes upcoming matchups and analysis on the week prior and week ahead. Great stuff! [/quote]
