The first time I met Dr. Roura, he was doing my IUI. He asked me to explain to him what an IUI is. I gave him a snarky reply. Then he proceeded to tell us that the sperm count was low that it probably wouldn't work and we could consider cancelling (right - I was already undressed). None of that was the appropriate time or place. Also, the IUI worked (but we later lost the pregnancy).

Dr. Roura has not done a reproductive endocrinology and infertility fellowship. He IS an OBGYN but he is NOT an RE. Dr. Waud confirmed that for me when I couldn't find anything about his credentials before I started an IVF cycle and questioned who might be doing any of my procedures. I was not ok with him doing my retrieval (and he didn't).
