Being in dc gives you a slight edge. But you’re going to want to be near your kids. It’s so much easier that way. If one leaves something at one place it’s not a big deal to go get it. Easier for your kids to get to your place. How are middle schoolers going to all the way to Logan? Metro, yes, but are they going to metro to Logan and then back in the morning to go to school?
