I'm torn between Kenyan McDuffie and Tim Day. Tim is a Republican who ran against Thomas in the general and uncovered the money scandals -- from the outside. He's an accountant and a gay, black man. Certainly wasn't impressed with:

1.  Wilds (whose first issue was getting rid of speed traps. Seriously, is that your main issue?); 
2. Hunter (got all red faced over gay marriage, which he's against but wouldn't say that -- he was the only candidate against it btw. Plus he took campaign donations from a strip club but is now pushing for a moratorium on more. McDuffiie nailed him on the irony/possible conflict there!);
3. Henderson. See previous comments. Also, she would re-elect everyone on the Council and the Mayor (was the only candidate to have said so). Enough said.

A question in my mind is: could Tim Day (R) win in a general/special election? B/c I think it could be good to have a (liberal) Republican in there --and an accountant.
