Welcome to Period Roulette! No Rules! No Regularity! No Flow Control! It takes a full year of no periods to know its over. But Wait! There's More! Heavy flow, short period, long period. Lots and lots of surprise periods. Mood swings, night sweats, and hot flashes. Depression. Short-tempered. Weight gain, skin changes, and, my personal favorite, the hair on your legs migrates up to your face! It varies for everyone, from few minor symptoms to full-blown crazy. Take to your doctor and talk to your friends about what they're experiencing -- It helps.
Period Roulette - I'm going to use that. Thanks! Stop reading if you want to believe (and this is fine) that you're in for a bumpy 18 months ... I'm on year four of no period in August, incessant period September through October (30+days), normal November through May, then full gore June and July. At least the blood is manageable. It's the brain fog, headaches, hot flashes, anger that's driving me cray cray!
