This is such a weird way of viewing classmates. I don’t think op wants to feel her daughter should only stick to her “own” to fit in. Yuck. What a sad way to view your classmates. We are wealthy but I encourage my children to have friends from all economic and social group backgrounds. I would never encourage my children to only hang out with a certain set of people. [/quote]

+1000 parents should encourage girls to be friends with all girls no matter their background or social economic status. Sad. [/quote]
