Most parents have expenses-in addition to-normal food budget-related to kids-diapers, formula, snacks, etc. that a two adult family wouldn't. We are a family of five and we spend about $1,000 a month-no processed food, we eat as clean as possible. We may go out once a week as a family otherwise everyone packs lunches/snacks on a daily basis.[/quote]
