Not gonna read that but will say that as petite woman just about 5’3” I used to only date shorter men. I know all about the Napoleon Complex and the associated outsize ego that shorter men seem to have, most especially if they are handsome-to-hot and intelligent. There is certainly a subgroup of shorter men who attempt to compensate by powerlifting and/or excessive tattoo plus one extreme vanity “exercise” (like interest in their hair, or clothes or tanning) and/or excessive display of wealth like car collecting or being in a showy field. I’m describing Dan Snyder- and two ex-BFs.
For what it’s worth, DH is 5’7 and is pretty attractive and very intelligent. He is also very secure in who he is so doesn’t have a complex about it. I think short men go about dealing with their height in two ways: either they accept it and develop their sense of self in healthy ways, or they act the way you’ve described here. My brother is actually the same as my husband. He’s 5’6 and I’m sure he sometimes gets bummed about how he is treated for his height, but he also owns who he is and is basically one of the most genuine and charismatic people you’ll ever meet. He’d never say something like “fat people shouldn’t be okay with their bodies because that encourages obesity.” He just treats people kindly and minds his own business.
