This is OP: I actually was going to post under that thread and realized it was locked.

As they say, haters gonna hate. But they should be aware they also love pit mixes and aren’t even aware. It’s the “kill all of them” chant that gets me, because not one of them would say to have my dog euthanized if they met her. Their fears are largely misplaced.

There are aggressive and untrainable dogs out there and dogs that bite. They should be dealt with as experts see fit. But if they understood most pit mixes were just plain old dogs and not monsters, maybe they would stop with the “kill them all” stuff.[/quote]
