OP here. I suspect they are going to correct their "correction." When I googled "Eid 2022" it seems Eid starts on sundown on May 2nd and ends at sundown May 3. So, I think the "O" day should be May 3, and they had it right initially. BUT, they never should have prohibited kids from taking AP exams on an "O" day. My kid will be taking back-to-back AP exams on her first time taking any AP exams. The only question I have is whether it is going to be May 3 or May 17.
Have you contacted anyone or been contacted by anyone about the change? I’m wondering about AP Chem on May 2nd. You’re right that the O day should be May 3
Does this prove that no one cares about Eid 2022? I ask because if indeed the school board got the date wrong (which I don't think they did) where were all of the families that support Eid being an "O" day when it was published wrong in the calendar a year ago. I can't believe folks that care would not have raised the issue. So 1) either someone just really messed up the calendar (making May 2nd an O day) causing all kinds of potential issues for AP students for incompetence or2) no one cares about this O day and it shouldn't exist,
