Our mistake was waiting until he was six months. [/quote] NP but if it makes you feel better, OP, my DD had a very pronounced flat spot at the back/side of her head due to torticollis (but she did not have the corresponding bump out in the front) and after months of listening to everyone who told us to wait it out, we put her in a helmet from 11-18 months, which is very much on the late side, but she now has a perfectly round head. We went with Cranial Tech in Annandale and they were great.[/quote]
