But I might have a good suggestion if I know more details, like if she has kids and if so what ages, what her day-to-day is like (SAHM? working in a medical office? teaching? stuck in a home office all day? etc.) and what her interests might be.

One question to ask yourself is if there is something that might feel lacking in her life right now. More beauty? Buy her art. More excitement? Tickets to a concert. More intellectual stimulation? A writing class. And so on. Like for me the thing I'm lacking most is time, so a gift I'd love is a night in a hotel or at a local retreat on my own, while DH took the kids for the night. One night to read, take a bath, get good sleep, go for a morning walk without worrying about kids, etc., would be amazing for me. But that's me. Maybe your DW has plenty of time and what she wants is romance or a challenge or humor or something.[/quote]
