I think it probably depends on how big the player pool is for tryouts in a particular age group. DS played Super Y for Arlington several years ago and there were two teams in his age group. One was clearly the first team and one was clearly the second team but the experience was basically the same and both teams were very competitive. Same number of practices, same facilities, but different coaches (both very good). As the PP noted, both teams played the same slate of teams (and played each other, of course). DS also played Super Y for Arlington last year and there was only one team for his age group. I'm not sure what the plan is for this year in DS's age group (current U13). The first try-outs were last night. [/quote]
