Both organizations have a strong political agenda.  Families on the opposite side of each organization's agenda would not want the organization anywhere near their child.

Need proof?  Let's see if anybody on this Board can honestly make either of the following statements:

I'm a Biden voter, and a liberal democrat, and I'd be fine having Focus on the Family come to the school and teach my child if they had something valuable to teach them. Like... I dunno, if my kids English class needed a primer on some basic bible stories to better understand symbolism? Or if my kid's business class was learning about how non-profits balance their budget in the real world? Or something like that? I care what my kid learns. The ideology of the people teaching them isn't important to me. [/quote]
