We were with GW a few years back and found them caring, compassionate, meticulous, and scientifically rigorous. We are contemplating returning there, but it seems all the old doctors we previously saw regularly are gone (or going) - Comstock, Lawlani, Humm - and the only one remaining is Frankfurter (who we did like but as they worked as a team it changes the dynamic) (and a new doctor from what we understand). As such, we are curious if perhaps we should explore another clinic, but first looking if anyone currently there has any insight on how the clinic is handling all these changes (appointment delays, feeling rushed, etc.).
Did Lalwani leave too? Who’s the new doctor?
Lalwani left within the last year or two also. They were one of the only clinics in the DMV that would think outside the box for poor responders, so it's a shame to see them take that knowledge and willingness to try new things with them. Not sure where Lalwani went (Comstock went to the FDA), but I doubt Humm will be able to be as creative at SGF as she was at GWU.
Dr. Lalwani moved to NJ and took a job at a pharmaceutical company working with fertility meds. Dr. lalwani was my doctor and I was able to ask her while preparing for my 2nd FET.
