Anyone with an actual experience of what its like at Case Western, especially if you are undecided. How much do they guide you? Is the cost worth it? We got merit aid but its still going to be more expensive than attending umd. Thanks
Case is an excellent school and provides a great college experience even beyond its academics. Well worth the price in my opinion (and experience). Every student has a counselor within their major once they declare but every student ALSO is assigned a Navigator June/July prior to beginning their freshman year. The Navigator is a faculty member that a student works with for their entire time enrolled. They contact the student during the summer before freshman year and start the process of getting to really know the student well and to guide them both academically and beyond (advice about research and internship opportunities, overall campus opportunities, as a resource for questions, etc, etc). The support and guidance is there at Case x100. The school gives voice to supporting their students but their actions show that they do.
Thanks! This is so helpful
