She was beautiful and had an incredible voice. Can't speak to her role as a mother, although I think addiction problems are incredibly sad. I'm very hopeful that there will be much less judgment in the future, as more is learned about brain chemistry and "wiring." Who held a gun to her head?  No one.  For every choice there is a consequence, and, if you choose to take drugs, legal or not, with alcohol, then death is a pretty certain consequence.  She squandered her talent and she was a public figure and the public has a right to judge.  If she had not died, SNL and late night comedians would still be making jokes about her.[/quote]
