I watch Morning Joe pretty religiously, and I don't think the clip posted by OP is a fair reflection of Mika's views.  When the story about the HHS rules on insurance coverage for contraception broke last week, Mika defended the administration and argued for the importance of birth control access to women's health.

She also has two young teen/tween daughters, and her comments were in the context parenting.  She never said she opposed contraception for teens.  I think she only meant that parents need to talk to their children about sex, safety, and taking care of oneself.

She did defend Santorum's right to have his own beliefs and opinion about contraception, but she does not believe that it's okay for him to impose them on others in making public policy.

I like Mika a lot and have been really happy to see her be more vocal with her own opinions in the past year or so.  If you watch her regularly, she's a good feminist and advocate for women.  [/quote]
