Needing childcare on a day's notice?[/quote] I, and others, warned you this is how it was going to go down at Christmas if MCPS didn't decide to pivot to virtual for January. A few trolls responded that they preferred being on tenterhooks every day rather than suffer in virtual. What they meant is that they, the parents, wouldn't suffer from having to stay home and see how children actually do in school. The kids are going to suffer no matter what, since they'll be packed somewhere (cafeteria, gym) with a few other classes, when those teaches are absent, and will be watched by a random staff member. The parents just won't have to SEE THAT. Which is all they care about. [/quote]
