This seems way worse than virtual learning on every possible level-- worse education plus higher risk. Is this seriously what you guys want? https://mobile.twitter.com/mollywobbbles/status/1478824824332070912
Literally no one wants that, so who are you talking to?
No people don’t want this. But there are only so many things that any one school or even a school district can do to in order to avoid Virtual Learning. If there are few subs, Principals and central office staff already pitching in, and other situations already going on (bus driver shortage, lack of tutors, and now snow) what are folks expecting MCPS to do? If you listen to parents on DCUM one would think that MCPS has a group of workers from Google managing technology, UPS managing logistics, Greyhound and Delta managing transportation, NIH managing all aspects of health and human services, and Deloitte managing accounting and auditing. Thus leaving teachers and Administrators to only teach.
