They are recommending things but it seems to be taking for ever. Right now I have the DMV list I am working with but half of their recs don't work. But they were the ones recommending the Discovery Center so I would like to try to find some testimonies about it. PP here. One of the things I did was to use the online provider tool for my carrier and then change the zip Code so I could get a bigger list. It was so tedious and so much work to find a placement.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Did you end up finding a good program in-network? My daughter is newly 17 yes, but even at 18 I think she would be willing to go. We have a good relationship and she understands it was a really bad decision. [/quote]

I did find a good program and I believe they saved my kids life. Thing about turning 18 is that many programs transition kids to adult programs at that age. So maybe watch for the age issue in your search. The program we used kept kids until their 19th birthday but in my search that was unusual. [/quote]
