They are recommending things but it seems to be taking for ever. Right now I have the DMV list I am working with but half of their recs don't work. But they were the ones recommending the Discovery Center so I would like to try to find some testimonies about it. PP here. One of the things I did was to use the online provider tool for my carrier and then change the zip Code so I could get a bigger list. It was so tedious and so much work to find a placement.

I hope your daughter is newly 17 so that age doesn’t become a factor. The waits are unbelievable. Three years ago and then again two years ago I sent my kid for residential and there were no waits at all. [/quote]

Thank you for sharing your experience. Did you end up finding a good program in-network? My daughter is newly 17 yes, but even at 18 I think she would be willing to go. We have a good relationship and she understands it was a really bad decision. [/quote]
