I grew up in an area with a lot of California transplants, and when we got snow in the winter, they would zip along in their 4WD SUVs . . . right up until they crashed because 4WD doesn't help you stop any faster. You slow down, you brake early so that you can brake gradually, and you steer into the spin. [/quote]
