I'm back - I've now been refused 3 times for a vaccine. Once for my child for not bringing proof of age Once for not being allowed to get MMR and COVID booster together (not what the CDC says) And once for MMR and needing proof from my doctor. I have a low titre and want to try to conceive. Are you ducking kidding me? Are there people out there getting vaccines for fun?
It sounds like you don't understand how vaccines are treated medically. They are not an OTC product. COVID vaccination is happening everywhere to everyone rn because the FDA OK'd and CDC recommended for everyone over 5. The other vaccines in the market are recommended and approved (and paid for via insurance) only for people in certain situations. Childhood is one of those situations. But for adults, you have to be X age or have Y medical problem to get shingrix vax, etc. You can't just go get an MMR because you want one; you have to be a person in the bucket for whom it is recommended. Your low MMR titer is in that bucket but it's in a part of the bucket where documentation is required. Since you didn't show up claiming that you'd never received one (which would also have put you in that bucket and required no documentation), you needed documentation. But that's how all vaccine administration works. 1--same, they need to make sure the kid is in the age bucket. 2 is stupid, you got a dumb provider.
