I'm thinking absolute numbers. As an example, DC's class already has as many kids admitted to some top schools as in EA/ED and RD together in previous years. What are the odds of more getting in RD? DC actually got in EA so I'm not asking for advice, more wondering what's in store for the rest of their class, especially some of the super-talented deferred kids.[/quote]

Our DC's school strongly suggests that kids keep chatter at a minimum and def no social media posts/sweatershirts at school. Nearly all hew to the latter with some having a sidekick post their admission, but the former - that ship has sailed. DC reported to me on anyone with whom DC is close friends +/or the family is close friends after having discussed with friends and I know that DC's friends were doing same with their parents.[/quote]
