What causes the need for this, particularly in a younger dog? Just wondering what to look out for.
You wont need to look out for it-it will be there loud and clear. In young females after spay some can leak intermittently or regularly dependent on the urether muscle tone. Some vets correct it with prion, and some with hormones. These treatment durations vary dependent on the frequency/intensity of the leaks-some dogs respond to 1x-3X weekly doses and some need everyday. Whether natural supplements work or not, does not seem to be well-known.
