Never. He was too smart to let us blow all this money that way. The more I think about it the more emotional I feel about it. My real dad hasn’t been in the picture since I was a child and my mom passed a few years ago. My stepdad was a man of few words but it’s clear that everything he worked for was for my brother and me. I wish I had brought him in closer when I was a newly wed. He must have been lonely. This is what’s making my ILs comments sting more, I suppose. [/quote]
