Buy heathy granola bars, triscuts, nuts, fruit, vegetables, cheese, yogurt- they get whatever combo they want. I’m not sure why you need to “fix” anything ever. Snacks are snacks and should be something small they can get themselves. It shouldn’t be something that requires a lot of time, effort, and assembly on your part. I really don’t understand the snack anguish. As long as you aren’t stocking the kitchen with Cheetos and twinkies, you can’t go wrong
+1 Cutting up an apple and putting peanut butter in a bowl for dipping takes one minute. Same with cheese slices and whole grain crackers, baby carrots and hummus, or a serving of trail mix. We also buy pre-packaged stuff like granola and fig bars, apple sauce and fruit cups, etc. we try really hard to ensure after school snacks are heavy on fruits or veggies and are t just carbs. Oh, yogurt cups are good too as a protein boost and often cone with a serving g of fruit.
