Fairfax has a number of very high-achieving schools, quite a few upper-middle achieving schools, and a fair number of lower-achieving schools. Loudoun has many upper-middle achieving schools and a few lower-achieving schools. The prior post makes it sound like there's nothing in the solid middle in Fairfax, when there is plenty. And that's just based on school averages. Both are pretty good systems. I'd be more concerned about commute time and housing prices if I were you. [/quote]
