[/quote] Countywide, the auditions are in the fall, info (dates, music) is on the APS website. Kids go to Kenmore (in the past, anyhow) and audition, then if they get in they rehearse once a week with kids from other schools across the county, then there is a performance. They take X many of each instrument so it partly depends on what your kid plays -- there are probably more flutes than tuba players. There is also honors orchestra and chorus. Audition is a practice piece and some sight reading. [/quote]
