+1.  Vaccinated people have nothing to fear from each other.  If they do, STAY OUT OF THE GYM.  Hospitals are nowhere near capacity around here.  These gyms offered to mandate vaccines.  Bars are open with no masks and no vax mandates.  This is one of the things pushing me to the right politically.[/quote]

Our officials have been very clear about vaccines not being very protective.

Masks are necessary and I wish people would stop whining and adjust to the new normal.  The experts will tell us when we can unmask. I’m just hoping we will be  allowed to go to church and see family at Christmas this year, so many grandparents are old.  I know that our leaders follow the science and won’t keep our elders isolated if it’s not vital to our society.

In the meantime, I am working on a hand painted “Merry Christmas” sign just in case. That way I can stand in my mom’s driveway and she can wave at the kids from her window. It’s a pandemic, but we will get through![/quote]

See, the thing is that our leaders have NOT been following the science since the beginning of the pandemic.  And if they were, they would be able to provide metrics.
