The SOL growth assessments are on a completely different points scale and on top of that the math and reading scores don’t have the same benchmarks. I guess they did that on purpose so that people don’t compare them to the “real” SOL scores? But it’s more confusing IMO. For example SOL is 400-600 passing and advanced pass. A growth assessment score might be 1527. For example. I think it will be harder for parents to understand. And we haven’t seen what type of score report parents will receive. [/quote] Thanks!
