NP. Just love when people come on DCUM to make vast proclamations about entire regions and entire populations as if they were God and knew every person there individually.

If I'd believed in some mythical "Seattle freeze" or that "Seattle people are weird," I wouldn't have met the very non-geeky, never awkward, outgoing person sitting next to me who epitomizes Seattle cool. Oh, plus, it's a great city for those who bother to give it a try.

Don't come back to make yourself feel better by trying to tell me I found the one and only great guy in all Seattle, either, because, well -- I know a lot of his friends and they're pretty damn cool too.
