You’re so worried about yourself. “How do I make friends?” “How do I not lose myself?” I know you don’t want criticism, so how about some facts from some of us on the other side. These years are short. They are all about the kids. Kids are self-centered overlords of their own world! Just focus on keeping them alive, getting enough sleep, keeping the house relatively not condemned, and try to have nutrition for everyone most of the time. Try to appreciate and love your DH too.
