Of those, 6990 accepted the waitlist spot--the others wanted to go somewhere else. Of those who stayed on the waitlist they offered 3959 a spot--so about 57%. But in the end 70.9% of students who applied were accepted. People felt it was a crapshoot because of the waitlist game and there was a lot of drama. But in the end those who were qualified in pretty much the same way as always got in.[/quote]
