One of my friends that I graduated with now has a DS there.  They were recently on campus for parents weekend and said their DS is loving it.  And the students were super welcoming to the parents in the ghetto (oh, sorry - neighborhood.)

Yes back in my day there was a heavy party scene and I don’t think that’s changed.  I was not much of a drinker, but I did enjoy going to the parties.  And I still managed to have fun.   Two of my roommates/housemates were very involved in campus ministry, and they weren’t big into the party scene.  UD is big enough that I would imagine you will find all different groups of people.
