That's what happened in 2002 (Kathleen Kennedy Townsend), 2014 (Anthony Brown), and 2018 (Ben Jealous). Now, it's a good question why - in a Democratic-majority state - the Democrats were unable to muster a good candidate for governor, but you're not interested in that question, unless you can type "woke" another 28 times while answering it.[/quote]
