It is my understanding that ADHD kids do better with more structure and so traditional schools were typically a better fit. In fact, we were specifically advised to stick with a school with structure (also small classes, lots of transitions and/or movement throughout the day) and avoid schools like Lowell. The two schools that have been recommended to us repeatedly are McLean and Norwood. [/quote]
