He likely also has an employment agreement affording him severance. Usually those are tightly written and the severance is owed unless the employee does something outright fraudulent. Since he could claim he misunderstood the question, it is nearly impossible to prove that he intended to lie, which doesn’t rise to the level of fraud anyway.[/quote]
