It’s to check for the heart beat.  The results are pretty important to me.  If there is a heartbeat, I’ll need to order an extra $1k in meds.  It also determines if I need to enroll during open season is a more expensive insurance policy that covers IVF.  Also seeing/hearing a heartbeat increases the chances dramatically of a viable pregnancy which is a huge deal to a woman who just went through ivf.  [/quote]

The time to schedule a heartbeat for viability is 9 weeks. A heartbeat seen after 8.5 weeks means the probability of a miscarriage plummets. There’s something about making it past 8.5 weeks. If you can get one then, do that as well. Good

You clearly didn’t have infertility. I would go to the RE Op. most OBs won’t even see you until 8 weeks. The Re will know what meds you need to order. Did you not have one at 6 weeks?[/quote]
