Miralax and Gatorade is the way to go. I've had two colonoscopies and have used this and it works beautifully, provided you eat lightly leading up to your prep day, which is the day you're only allowed clear liquids. Follow the directions below, however I find that four Ducolax tablets would be a little strong and you probably only need two, unless you're really constipated. So take two of those, plus mix the 8.3ox miralax with the gatorade and then drink in 8oz increments. The directions below are a split prep. I have skipped the split prep because I always schedule my colononscopies early in the AM, so around 3 or 4pm the day before, I mix the entire 8.3oz of miralax with the two bottles of gatorade in a pitcher, like I'm making lemonade! Then I start drinking 8oz at time, drinking water in between until I'm halfway through the pitcher. Drink lots of water throughout the day btw to stay hydrated. Then things will start happening. Once they do, I wait a bit and around 7pm or so I start the other half so I'm done around 9 and by then everything is pretty emptied out. You could do the split prep, but I really don't want to have to get up at midnight to continue prepping. One and done and it works perfectly. You cannot taste the miralax in the gatorade. I usually choose orange gatorade. It's not awful. Honestly, drinking the glucose test when you're pregnant is worse in my opinion. You'll do great OP and good luck! https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/articles/21217-miralax-gatorade-bowel-preparation-instructions
My dad had his most recent colonoscopy about a month ago. He used the Miralax and Gatorade approach. It was the second time he prepped that way and it is soooooo much better than the other methods he has used for previous colonoscopies. He used four 16-ounce (I think) bottles of Gatorade to get to the 64 ounces (he was a little over) and parsed the Miralax out between those. He liked that better than one big pitcher. He used two of the Ducolax tablets the night before and then two the morning of. The anti-gas chewables really helped, too. For nourishment the day before he had a lot of clear beef broth, jello, and then lemonade (no pulp). Good luck, OP. It is important to do your colonoscopy. Right before Covid we lost a dear family friend to colon cancer. It was horrible. So prep up and go!
