Why? It's a time in their lives when they can experiment in ways they won't be allowed to later in life.

My kid has had blue hair, purple hair, and varying shades in between. He's had fun with it, and now seems to be growing out of the "color my hair" stage. No harm done. And I could always spot him on the soccer field...the kid with the yellow cleats and blue glasses and purple hair.[/quote]

I am still surprised every time I see this kind of vehement opinion about things other people do that have zero impact on their life. I am reading enough DCUM that I’m getting used to people not minding their own business, though.

OP have your kid choose a dark purple because it will fade into a nice light purple before it needs to be dyed again. [/quote]
