Ah. Back then, they used COGAT. You should have received the scores for that, too. That is supposed to measure innate ability over learned content. Kids who may have the ability to do enriched work, but haven’t had the same exposure to advanced content as other kids have a chance to be identified and offered enrichment. So your child may have lost a place to a child who showed a higher COGAT score but didn’t have the same opportunities for enrichment, perhaps at home.

Still, I hope your child gets enrichment at the home school. Sounds like you are providing some at home, and that is great.[/quote]
